Evening Club Meeting with 3 Speakers (Virtual)

Join the Lions for a meeting on Zoom. After some brief business, we will be hearing three 10-minute presentations by different speakers, and learning about ways to be of service and better support the community.

Confirmed speakers include:
– Bill Strusinski, a local author of a newly-published memoir, “Care Under Fire,” which describes his experiences as a combat medic during the Vietnam War.
Bill earned several awards, including three Bronze Stars for Valor and the Combat Medical Badge. Bill also learned valuable life lessons that he applied to his civilian life. His memoir is a story about family, patriotism, progression as an individual, and the path to living a fuller life
– Patti Ray, City of Scandia Council Member and Scandia-Marine Lion Club’s 3rd Vice President, will be sharing information about an exciting new partnership that the City of Scandia has with Mellrud, Sweden, as Sister or Friendship Cities.

There will be lots of prizes awarded during the meeting for those attending – including five $15 gift certificates to Scandia Pizza! This is a meeting you don’t want to miss!!
